A cross-functional group of customer-facing Sika Roofing employees completed an intensive, technically-driven training course developed by the Institute of Roofing (IoR) in partnership with the manufacturer.

Sika Roofing is pleased to announce the appointment of Martin Bidewell as Head of Technical & Product Management for Sika Roofing.

Sika Limited will host a series of repair and refurbishment ‘deminars’ around the country, designed to provide technical insights and specification support to building owners, architects and building surveyors nationwide.The events are in response to feedback from specifiers about the value of technical presentations and product demonstrations in helping them to keep up-to-date with the latest building product technologies, buildability considerations, whole life cost and performance benefits.

Roofing contractors have to work with some of the most challenging conditions of any on-site trades. Not only is working at height an integral part of the job but progress on the project is often weather dependent, creating a make-hay-while-the-sun-shines culture of working extremely hard when conditions allow in order to get the job done on time, on budget and to the required quality standard.
